Precious Corner Stone

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a  precious corner stone , a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. ~Isaiah 28:16 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture,  Behold, I lay in Sion a chief  corner   stone , elect,  precious : and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe  he is   precious : but unto them which be disobedient,  the  stone  which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the  corner , ~1 Peter 2:6-7

Precious

1 Sam 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. Ps 49:8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) Ps 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Ps 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; Ps 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! Prov 17:8 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. Prov 20:15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel. Isa 13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Isa 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion fo...

Power of God

Ex 9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. Ex 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. Ex 32:11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Num 14:17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my LORD be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying, Deut 4:37 And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; Deut 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deut 9:29 Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance...

Plant (of renown, tender-)

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Isaiah 53:2  Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it. Ezekiel 17:22-24 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in...

Physician

Jer 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no  physician  there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? Mat 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a  physician , but they that are sick. Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the  physician , but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 4:23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb,  Physician , heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country. Luke 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a  physician ; but they that are sick.

Peace

Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: Numbers 25:12  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:10 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. Ezekiel 34:25 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and...

Pavilion

He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. Psalm 18:11 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Psalm 31:20

Passover, our

Ex 12:11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S  passover . Ex 12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the  passover . Ex 12:27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S  passover , who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. Ex 12:43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the  passover : There shall no stranger eat thereof: Ex 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the  passover  to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. Ex 34:25 ...
